Some useful information

Flights

There are several flights daily from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Until now, the flights are still pretty cheap and well available, so we recommend you not to delay booking flights too long.

We will arrange bus transportation March 19th from Rovaniemi to Pyha about 6.pm, after the 5.45 p.m. flight arrival to Rovaniemi.
On Sat 23th we arrange bus transportation to the Flight Departure at 9.15 from Rovaniemi to Helsinki.

Of course other flights are also possible, and there are ski-bus connections from airport to Pyha from almost every flight so it is not a problem (35€), but it is necessary to pre-book your bus-connection.

Trains
It is also possible to travel from Helsinki to Lapland through the snowy Finland with a train. It takes 10-12 hours and there are sleeping cars (recommended) and a restaurant car (recommended). From train stations (Rovaniemi or Kemijärvi) there are again ski-bus connections.

Activities

On one or two afternoons there will be free time for snow activities, such as snow mobile, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, reindeer or husky safari, free ride skiing.
